Wheelchair Accessible Venues

The road to the summit is sealed and there are toilets, picnic areas, lookouts, barbecues and walks that are accessible for wheelchairs. Enjoy spectacular views of the coast.

Access is via a good quality unsealed road and the area is adjacent to a rocky beach with wheelchair accessible toilets, picnic areas and barbecues. Kangaroos and other native animals frequent this picnic spot. Park entry fees apply.

Newby’s Lookout. This lookout over the Manning Valley is reached via the Coopernook Forest Drive. It is newly upgraded to cater for wheelchair sightseers and provides spectacular escarpment views.

Enjoy the stillness and beauty of this remnant coastal rainforest, spot the birdlife, meander along the 1.3km boardwalk designed for wheelchair use with gentle gradients, rails and rest stops and accessible toilets. Guided walks are available, and the rainforest centre as displays, a shops and a cafe. Entry fees to the walk apply.

No beaches in the Camden Haven have direct disabled access to the water’s edge yet.

• North Haven Surf Beach – the beach can be viewed clearly from the carpark and from the northern breakwall.
• Pilot Beach – this great picnic area has accessible toilets but no easy beach access.
